Generation and results
The tool generates passwords in your browser using Web Crypto. The generator does not send passwords to a server or keep a history. Results are not placed in URLs, cookies, local storage, or Analytics events. Do not enter existing passwords here; this tool creates new sequences.
Copying and downloading are optional actions. Your system clipboard may keep a history or synchronize across devices. A downloaded batch is a readable, unencrypted text file. Anyone with access to those copies may read them.
Preferences in this browser
Your theme, selected language, generator options, and analytics choice may be stored in this browser’s localStorage. These preferences do not contain generated results. An explicit page address determines the language even if an earlier preference exists.
You can remove these preferences by clearing this site’s browser data. Blocking local storage does not prevent generation; your choices may then be forgotten when you leave.
Analytics only with your permission
Google Analytics does not load until you choose Allow analytics in Optional analytics in the footer. You can change that choice there. Declining does not limit the generator. Granting permission does not send earlier actions.
Events measure tool exposure, voluntary generation, confirmed copying, categorized errors, download requests, language changes, and guide actions. Parameters are fixed categories: language, page type, mode, action source, batch size of 1/5/10, and error category. We do not send passwords, fragments, hashes, length, or entropy.
With permission, Google Analytics uses cookies and identifiers to associate events and processes technical connection information such as IP address, browser, and device. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled in the site configuration. Google’s policy explains its processing.
When you withdraw permission, the site blocks new events and disables its Analytics property in the browser. If the script already loaded, a reload button lets you remove it from the current page; reloading discards the current results. You may also clear cookies through your browser settings.
Hosting and limits
Blogger, a Google service, hosts this site. Opening pages and resources requires communication with the hosting service, which may process technical request data under its own policies. Local generation does not mean that the page makes no network requests.
We do not use session recordings or capture password fields. Browser extensions, malware, system features, and copies you make are outside this site’s control. The generator is not a password vault.
